Wow Look I Am Experimenting and Creating. This is Cool
Help me give my students experience STEM for the first time. Solar cars will catch the 6th graders curiosity. The marble maze will amaze the younger students. These items will create curiosity and excitement about learning hands-on.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
STEM is always fascinating and engaging to students. I know it will help to engage my students in the sciences, but also mathematics and literacy. It will help to grow their problem solving skills, creativity and critical thinking. A lot of the hands-on creativity was lost during the pandemic. Now it is time to have hands-on and group activities. Working with each other to solve problems.
STEM is going to be new this year to help create the excitement about doing hands on projects, experimenting, trial and error with everyday problems.
This will give students who come from low income homes a head start to imaging becoming an engineer, inventor or change the world for the better with their contributions. Also girls who never thought they could design a bridge. Make a solar car run. Create a circuit that lights a light. We have lost that sense of curiosity and step back in time of how when you wanted something you figured out how to build or make it. Now with technology the ideas are endless.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
