Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Did you know that one in every eight homes struggle with food scarcity? We are a school that serves first through fifth grades in one of the highest poverty areas in Pennsylvania. Many of these students only eat when they are at school.

Together, we can eliminate childhood hunger.

Your support and donations to purchase non-perishable food items for my school can make a meaningful difference by helping to bridge the gap between hunger and students being able to learn. All of these items will be packed for our students to take home for the weekend.

Having a lunch box will help one student store his food. Wipes and storage containers are needed to keep my student's hands clean and food safe.
