This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This was a project that we had done every year before COVID. It was the project that many of our students looked forward to doing and creating. This will help things get back to normal.

Students will make connections to the events by understanding why decisions were being made, when they making their models.

By using the soldiers students can recreate battles that show what war was like for the soldiers. They will use the paint to create terrain to help understand the environments and what struggles were undertaken. The glue will be used to aligned the soldiers in positions that were similar to the ones that they have studied. This project fosters cooperative learning through teamwork as the students must work in teams when planning, creating, and summarizing their projects.
