Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students love the challenges our science program offers. Enthusiastically they seek to experiment with new ideas and find solutions to problems in hands-on labs. We need to provide them with more classroom discovery opportunities.
With the help of a portable sink, our middle school students can do labs without leaving the classroom.
Safe access to water and practical piece of equipment for cleanup is essential, especially in the interest of time management. Your support could encourage a future scientist.
My Project
With 50 minute classes, providing enough time for exploration and science labs with clean up are a challenge. We know what we need to do and you can help.
With a portable sink right in the classroom, we can execute lab time more often, and more efficiently.
The direct benefit for our students is immeasurable and will allow them more lab time to explore and think about sciences challenges outside the box. One day, these scientists will help find new cures for diseases and new, innovative products. Still others will be able to pass it on to the next generation.
This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
