My Project
What I love most about my 10th grade World History students is how they’re beginning to see the world through a more mature and curious lens. They ask bold questions, draw surprising connections, and challenge themselves to understand how the past has shaped the present. They’re not just learning dates and facts—they're developing critical thinking skills and growing into global citizens.
By providing each student with a personal journaling notebook, I’m equipping them with a tool to reflect on historical themes, analyze primary sources, respond to essential questions, and track their intellectual growth throughout the year.
These journals will be used for warm-ups, Socratic seminar prep, historical reflections, and personal responses to world events.
Journaling helps students process complex ideas, find their voice in academic writing, and make history relevant to their own lives. Your support will help make history not just something they study—but something they connect with, question, and learn from deeply.
