it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My name is Mr. Garrett and I am the music teacher at BES, a title 1 school in Hillsborough County, Florida. My students love to do after school ensembles and I want them to have the ability to all perform in our programs that I offer after school. This gives students a safe place for them to be able to express themselves as well as a way to build friendships and learn about teamwork by playing drums together, as well as making some beautiful music.
I need assistance for these students to get them all of the drums that we need for each student in my ensemble to have a drum.
Our students are so excited to get started and I want the best for my students. Thank you so much for considering giving to the students here at BED. The drums will be used for an afternoon ensemble as well as classroom use for all grade levels.
