This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We officially have World Cup fever here at our school! The excitement is real! Our students already had a love of soccer, but it has exploded this past week with the start of the world cup. Having students rooting for all of their respective home countries and favorite stars has been awesome!

While the excitement is high, our equipment is low.

The worldwide competition has spilled over from watching the games, to playing their own games at recess. Unfortunately, our nets are ripped and our balls are flat. This project would give all of our students new equipment to play the game they love at recess every day.
