Help me give my students manipulatives and math work stations to extend the learning beyond workbooks, worksheets, and journals. These items will allow me to reinforce the learning in a fun way for my students.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The majority of our students come from low socioeconomic backgrounds. We service a large population of "at risk" students. The school funding available to the teachers at my school is minimal, so students lack additional resources needed to extend their knowledge.
Due to COVID and virtual learning, many of my students have fallen behind 1-2 grade level.
Their attention span is so short they need a variety of learning activities to keep them engaged and enhance their math skills.
These resources will be used to extend the learning beyond lectures, workbooks, worksheets, and journals. I have carefully selected manipulatives, games, and workstations that will provide students with hands on learning and keep them engaged and eager to learn more.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
