This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My school is a Title I school, and my students are kind and funny and eager to absorb all the knowledge they can. For many, school is the place where they feel safe and cared for.

In school, they have staff and teachers who respect them and support them.

We have students that do not have access to the internet.

Their living conditions do not favor virtual learning. The only possibility is brick and mortar education, and they are returning to the building.

My Project

There are many wonderful resources for my students online. We need a printer so that they can have access to worksheets that will promote their learning. I teach Math, Science and Social Studies. My students will be able to highlight important information and work out problems and study from the material provided to them.

We can read and see online materials but there are many resources that printed would enrich our learning process.

Online students can come to the office and pick up materials and our physical students will be able to work in class.
