My students need a BreakoutEDU Kit. We have borrowed one and the students absolutely loved it. What fun to have our own kit to do Breakouts regularly!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My third graders are ambitious and have wonderful goals for the future.
Learning collaboratively in new ways is what inspires these students to reach for the stars.
My students are the face of the United States of America.
Some were born in this country to English speaking parents. Some were born in the United States to Spanish or Vietnamese speaking parents. Others were born in another country and immigrated to the United States. One thing that all of my students have in common is their zest for learning. They are so wonderful in that they don't see the differences between each other.
My Project
My students need their own Breakout EDU box. We have borrowed one for a couple of lessons and they are begging for more.
Have you ever watched students collaborate in a Breakout EDU lesson?
If not you would be amazed at how focused they are. They love working together to solve clues to open the locks. They communicate and problem solve as teams. They are the leaders of the lesson. Two students who struggle with academics were the first ones to solve the word and directional lock. As I watched, I knew that I had tapped into something special. Breakout EDU lessons bring out the strengths in all students. The requested Breakout EDU kit has the benefit of reaching all learners.
