it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Can you remember a time when computers weren't around? Do you remember how you felt the first time you used a computer? What would you do today without computers? How lucky are we today that we can learn through technology by using portable computer laptops or netbooks?
Our school is a fairly new school to our area.
We have a wonderful community surrounding us. Unfortunately, we are limited with funds and do not have all the resources we need to help us reach our full potential. Though our wonderful parents and administration help out as much as they can, there is only so much they can do about our limited resources. Our students are VERY driven and motivated to learn. They approach learning with a positive attitude and love trying new things.
My Project
Technology is such a huge part of our everyday lives. It is inevitable. These three netbooks can help keep kids interested and motivated with learning through fun and interactive games. With these computers, you are helping our students have a brighter life and become more prepared for their future.
We will use the netbooks EVERY DAY during our reading time in our small reading groups.
We will use the netbooks for interactive reading activities, online games, accelerated reading tests, and extra practice for struggling students. By contributing to our school, you are helping out our future lawyers, doctors, nurses, teachers, etc. They will continue to develop a love of learning and be able to overcome any obstacles they are faced with.
