Help me give my students the materials needed to perform multistep jobs. Many of our materials begin to fall apart over time and with so many students using them. This project will allow me to refresh these jobs!

My Students
This is a separate school that serves students ages three to 21 with severe intellectual disabilities. Many of these students have concurrent challenges such as autism, blindness, deafness, or physical disabilities. Families find it difficult to take the children out into the community once they have returned home from school due to the transportation of wheelchairs and/or behaviors. Our focus is to provide opportunities for students to explore and develop independent functioning by addressing students’ individual needs. Through home, school, and community involvement, we create an educational environment to maximize student success. Being the Daily Living teacher, I am fortunate to see all 125 students each week. Many students require hand over hand assistance to complete an activity and most are non-verbal.
My Project
These materials will be used to refresh work jobs that we use throughout the year. We will use the erasers, finger guards, and pencils as a multi-step job. We will use the vinyl and blade to update our Cricut machine which our students have been using for classroom labels and to make the route direction boards for our school 5K.
The organizational tools will allow the students to assist with kitchen/household tasks.
The bag holder will allow them to assist with storage of a variety of materials by holding the bag open for them. The shirt folder will allow them to assist with folding their clean laundry and put it away neatly.
