Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Young children thrive on positive reinforcement which is why we have an incentives and rewards program in our classroom.
Rewards and incentives are essential part of an elementary school classroom because they help motivate students and encourage positive behavior.
Rewards also boost their self esteem and encourage them to continue to work hard. I believe that encouraging students to make good choices includes providing rewards they can enjoy and utilize in the classroom in addition to verbal acknowledgement. This is why I am requesting a variety of snacks to reward the students for positive behavior and hard work.
