This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Dear donors,

I teach a wonderful fifth-grade classroom that consists of 25 students.

My students are kind, respectful, and ready to learn! I truly believe that small group instruction is important as students learn and acquire learning differently. I am also an inclusion teacher; some of my students have an individualized learning plan, which means that my students need supported learning skills. One way I can improve my small group instruction is by having accessible material to cover all the subjects such as math, reading, writing, science, etc.

This project is kindly requesting materials that will allow me to support my students additionally in small group. The materials needed include a series of 5th-grade workbooks, I plan on printing sets and work with my students side by side to ensure they have quality instruction with support. Since I will be making copies, I am also requesting class ink and a new class sharpener to have pencils ready for when my students come to the back table for learning.
