My Students
I work at the best elementary school where all our students are on "the road to success." My students are part of a Title I school in a big city. We have a very diverse population with students from over 92 countries and many students are English Language Learners.
Walk into my room and you will see the best group of students.
My classroom is a self-contained special education class. We have students with a variety of needs in both educational and life skills. Each student is unique and brings me joy when I see him or her succeed.
My Project
In our classroom we spend a lot of time learning on the carpet together. This is the area that faces our interactive whiteboard and I like to teach from here. Sometimes we like to complete worksheets and use other materials while siting on the carpet. My students struggle with clipboards and we need more space. Having lap desks will help us be more productive when we work on the carpet.
