This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These floor seating will provide my students with a space for group work and collaboration.

There are many opportunities during the day for group work.

There is limited table space for partner work and having these seating on the floor will make better use of the classroom space. Students will use these seats for a space where they can quietly work away from the crowd.

I think it is important to have soft spaces for students to exist within. It will be use for academic purposes and as well as a space for social emotional support.
