Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The giant magnetic writing poster will be used by students and myself to teach the strokes of letter writing accurately. It's super important for students to develop fluency in letter writing in order for them to successfully develop fluent sentence writing skills. With these magnetic writing posters, students can model writing with their peers!
The sentence magnets will teach syntax rules and help students to build sentence skills in a hands-on way!
They will work with peers to create complex sentences and silly sentences.
The lined white boards will help students show their work to me during whole class lessons and allow me to see who needs more support. The added benefit of these white boards is that they can be used across all subject areas!
