it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help me give my students legos, magnetic tiles, and other open ended toys that foster creativity and most importantly the opportunity to have fun.My students are imaginative, creative and inquisitive learners that enjoy interacting and exploring their environment through play. Through open ended toys they will have the opportunity to grow in confidence and competence as they use their cognitive skills to develop their own ideas and creativity in a visual and tangible way.
Play materials in the classroom are extremely important for multiple developmental perspectives such as cognitive, social/emotional, physical, and language.
Play is important to healthy brain development. It is through play that children at a very early age engage and interact in the world around them.
