My Students
My students dive into learning everyday. They are excited to learn new things, and are encouraged by big and small successes. They are classroom and global citizens who are curious about the world. They are eager to apply all they know in every opportunity they get.
The beauty of our student body is it's diversity.
Students come from various cultural backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, and types of learners. Because of it's diversity, students are not only learning from their teachers but also from their peers.
My Project
This project contains collections of books that will support reading strategy lessons that I teach in the classroom. The collection of books are unique and are selected to support lessons from the book, Reading Strategies by Jennifer Seravallo.
After working hard, students will get an opportunity to play hard!
Included in this project are games and STEM materials such as KEVA planks that will extend their learning through discovery and creativity.
Some of the games included in this project will also support their social-emotional learning. I will be able to create an environment in which students will learn how to communicate effective, and take turns.
