Help me give my students creative materials with a focus on play and learning. Students love to express themselves and show off learning at all times. Fun is fun, at workshop and during group learning and instruction.
You know the saying "Work Hard, Play Hard"? This applies in the classroom as well! My students are very creative and have very strong imaginations. They love to play and pretend. They love being the doctor and taking care of the sick babies or just loving on them and rocking them in the rocking chair. My students would love to have a doctor's kit to help spark pretend play. Who would love to have baby bottles with disappearing milk? You know this answer, PreK students who love school and learning would love these items! My students would love to have the baby carriers to hold the baby dolls just like their moms hold their baby brother or sister.
Who would have thought learning could equal fun times?
My students enjoy learning new things and giving their best effort! My students would love to practice writing letters and numbers on a secret magnetic board. Magnetic boards that magically erase so students could start over again and again equals motivation! As a student, not only do they get to show what they know in a fun interesting way, they could voila make it appear many times as their heart desires.
My students also love building and creating structures! They love making cities where they get to make the buildings and roads. They go on special missions using the community helper vehicles like the police vehicles, ambulances and fire trucks! Do you know the fun they will have building using kinetic sand!? Kinetic sand will be very versatile and fun way to build or make letters or create an area to write their names. These special items will prove to be a big hit and will support learning in the most fun ways.
