My Project

My students are not "one size fits all". That's why they get to come see us in Title I for 30 minutes a day for reading support. I have a small handful of students who are good readers, but horrible spellers. These books will help me as an instructional coach develop our teachers and help them learn and grow as well as expand their own instructional toolboxes.

These students need intensive teaching on spelling rules and patterns to be able to transfer that knowledge to their writing.

Words Their Way is a program that takes just 15 minutes a day to practice the different spelling patterns with word sorts, and it aligns.
