Help me give my students manipulatives to practice word work during our phonics lessons. Word work with magnetic letters is beneficial for learning because it helps students to engage in decoding and encoding tasks.
I love teaching! Next year I will be switching grade levels and will be in first grade. Doing so will require me to purchase some more materials for my students. This can be expensive, so both my students and I are very appreciative of your generosity.
These magnetic letters will be used to help students during our Literacy block.
Magnetic letters will be a great manipulative for the word work portion of our phonics lessons. They will help students to practice both their decoding and encoding skills.
These magnets will be great because they come in only one color, making it less likely for a student to associate letters with colors rather than their actual sound.
