My Students

We are a selective enrollment school on the south side of Chicago. My students come from a wide range of diverse backgrounds including different countries, ethnicities, and social economic backgrounds.

My students are active learners and love to demonstrate autonomy and self choice.

We love to show our learning with projects and creative crafts.

My Project

The items selected will be used in our class to help students with their phonics and vocabulary skills. We will use these items daily to facilitate engaging word work lessons.

Students will be able to choose an activity and personally learn a skill that will contribute to their growing vocabulary.

I choose these items because they are hands on, engaging, and will help to create autonomy in the classroom. These items will help keep our classroom student centered. Please considering donating as my students will truly benefit from your kindness.
