My Students

Writing across the curriculum is essential in order to help students acquire the writing skills they need to survive in college. Writing is an integral part of our daily lives and one of the main areas of focus for our curriculum.

Our students are a diverse group of individuals who travel from every part of our state to attend our school.

They come to our school for a unique experience; a rigorous college preparation curriculum partnered with a classic performing arts curriculum, and a community where every person is not only accepted but valued for who they are. The student centered approach our school practices encourages deep thinking, problem solving, and empowers our children!

My Project

Research, writing, revising, and editing are important skills that our students practice each and every day. We need dictionaries to help students comprehend what they read and edit their writing. Having dictionaries available will help our students to gain essential vocabulary that will improve their writing, speaking, and reading skills.

Having dictionaries available in the classroom will allow students to become better editors, to learn new vocabulary words, and skills they will need to be successful in life and college.
