This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My school has five hundred and seventy-nine students and is a Title I school!

My kindergartners are full of energy, ready to play and learn!

My students are always eager to want to know and learn more! They ask many questions, they talk a lot, they are curious and like to discover! We are going to learn many things! We will work on our manners, social skills, fine and gross motor skills, academics, and tons more!

Most of our students are English language learners and the majority of our students qualify for the free or reduced-price lunch program.

My Project

I want to be able to obtain an erasable whiteboard for my kindergartners that they can interact with!

Word Walls are so important for early learners to help them recall, create, and refer to.

I think it is important that the word wall is easily accessible for my students to interact with so they learn words and they don't just memorize words but actually know and connect with words.

Word Walls are used everyday to help write, learn vocabulary, and use in conversations! Having an erasable whiteboard, I will be able to have my students write the words up there and also put it up to their eye level to interact with.
