Word Games for Finishers

Help me give my students some great word games they can play in their free time to keep English on their minds throughout all of class!

My Students

My students are such good and fun kids.

I teach in a lower income school.

While a lot of them are on a 2nd-4th grade reading level, they enjoy reading and trying to improve themselves. We have a lot of laughs and a lot of fun in the classroom, but at the end of the day, they know that it's okay to make mistakes, and they know that their education is important.

At the end of each day, and at the year, my goal is for them to be better people, not only in their education, but in life. Compassion, acceptance, and teamwork are just a few things my kids work on every day

My Project

Being in my school, I have a very diverse population. Some students need extra help, while others excel and finish early.

I would like to give them games to play or things to do that will still be engaging and make them think.

Instead of those students having to read every time they get done early, or giving them free time.

These games and crosswords would help provide that to them. I have borrowed these games from other teachers, and my students have loved them, however, I would love my own copies so my students can use them whenever they would like.
