My Students
I have an amazing class of students. We love learning together My students are artistic, creative, love to read, and love to learn and teach each other new things.
We are a class of learners.
My class loves to spend time reading and learning everyday. They have a wide range of abilities and talents that makes coming to school everyday fun.
We are part of a large and amazing K-5 school. Students are always finding ways to help each other and the community. Staff and students make our school a fabulous place to learn and grow.
My Project
Word building tiles will allow my students to explore and wonder about word making without having pieces blown all over the room. Everyday we do word study, letter sounds, spelling, or phonics work. Currently we use paper letters that easily get lost or destroyed.
This project would allow each student to have their own bag of letter tiles to use during work with phonics, letter sounds, and the exploration of words.
The tiles are easy to read and much more durable, so our work will stay put while we are diving into our learning. These letters will encourage the joy and inquiry in our phonics and word study lessons.
