This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have the pleasure of helping middle school English language learners develop excellent academic English skills in pursuit of life-long success. Language learners work for years to pass the rigorous English exam. Once they've passed, I'd like to reward them with a special token of America!

English language learners are hard-working students that deserve special recognition!

For that reason, I am requesting some "USA t-shirts" that will be awarded to students who "reclassify" and become fluent English speakers - a worthy, but high-bar exam. I have worked with language learners for years, and I have seen them go from strength to strength when they "reclassify." I believe they deserve a reward for this accomplishment, so this is a token gift to help them celebrate.
