My Students
Mrs. A Smith's class is made up of a great group of 2nd grade girls and boys who love to learn. They like to work together to solve problems, read, and discover new things. These Sierra Verde Vipers communicate effectively, respond digitally, and communicate effectively.
Our mission statement is "Every day we learn, have fun, be kind, and make friends".
The students wrote this mission statement and are true to it. They are active kids who like to work together as a group of friends who are eager to learn new things every day.
My Project
Second graders love to tell stories and you can help us become better writers. We need a pencil sharpener to keep sharp pencils on hand, editing tape and colored pencils to keep our creative juices flowing. The story paper gives us a place to write and draw. These tools will enhance our writer's workshop and help students bring their stories to life.
Second graders write stories about their lives, stretching out details, helping their readers envision their stories, using powerful words, drawing detailed pictures, and making people smile with their creative writing.
