My Students

In my classroom the scientists are children indeed, four and five-year-old kindergarten scholars to be exact.

Like all other children their age they are curious about the world around them and love to explore. Science is one of their favorite subjects, but I lack the supplies to allow them hands-on experiences.

My Project

Having a variety of magnets, with iron filling sets would allow all of my children the ability to explore magnets at the same time and I would be able to set up a science center that they could visit to further their explorations. Tree cross sections and magnifying glasses would be used during our tree unit to look at the parts of a tree trunk up close. The North American animal set would be used during our study of animals. Color paddles would allow my students to see what happens when colors are mixed.

Please help my budding scientists discover the natural phenomena Marie Curie mentioned that may impress them enough to choose a career in science.
