My Students
Like most third graders, mine have an insatiable need to explore technology. Unfortunately, our classroom has a limited amount of tech resources. This year, it is my goal to continue increasing the tech-inventory in our class.
I want my students writing their own code by the end of the year!
In order to achieve this goal, I will first introduce Hour of Code to the students. The kids will learn how to move characters using logical directions and writing with computer code. We will then move on to writing code with ROBOTICS!!!
My Project
Dash and Dot are Wonderbots that are going to help my students learn the language of coding. As the students become more familiar with the robots, the puzzles and activities will also become more challenging.
Together, with your donations, we will be creating coding SUPERHEROS!
The kids will be working with Dash and Dot to solve problems, compose music, or program paths to maneuver around the classroom. The possibilities are limited only by imagination.
I am excited about the opportunities that will come to the students after they learn how to code. Dash and Dot will provide inspiration to the future coders.
