My Students
My first grade students are remarkably resilient and determined to learn. They attend school on a rotating basis and join me on the days when they do not attend in-person classes. Our remote learning sessions have grown into full-fledged classrooms where our learning is facilitated on a daily basis.
My Project
My students bring a wide range of experiences and backgrounds to our class. These books will provide a wonderful way to allow each of them to see themselves in our read alouds. We enjoy sharing different books each day and by including these titles, all of my students will have an opportunity to feel valued and know that they are an integral part of our class. It is valuable for my students to see their lives reflected in the books we share - and these titles will afford us that opportunity.
