Wonderful Little Writers

My students need many creative reading and writing resources. These include dramatic play writing boxes, sentence strips, stamps and stamp pads, and instant learning centers.

My Students

My students are in kindergarten and are vibrant and full of life!

They come from a low-economic area in Ohio. With that being said they love to come to school and learn! My students are always excited about learning something new. They even like it when they have homework or projects! I try to have many different centers and workshops for learning. The writing center is their favorite center and they always ask to go there.

My Project

All of the reading and writing resources I have chosen will absolutely help my students with learning and becoming successful. I have a writing center that simply has paper and dry erase boards. They love it already! Imagine how much of a difference it will be with sight words cards, writing folders, sentence strips, writing activities, and so much more that I chose. Not only will the resources I chose be in their centers, but I will also use them when I work with students one-on-one, small group work, and whole class. Writing will now have a set purpose and they will have fun while doing it!

I am a first year teacher and have such a passion for teaching.

This is something I have always wanted to do. It took me 3 years of substituting to find a job and I couldn't be happier! My students deserve the very best. They come in everyday giving me 110%. There is nothing I wouldn't do for them. These resources would help tremendously. I am an up beat and creative teacher. Everything I chose reflects my teaching and I know my students would be so appreciative.
