My Students
Despite our school being in a low-income neighborhood, education and parent participation is still a priority.
Parents and community work hand in hand with the administration, educators, and staff at our school with one goal in mind, equipping the future.
Students come to school excited to learn and look forward to acquiring the skills and education to reach their future goals. As educators, we are constantly looking for novel ways to challenge and encourage our students to work to their potential and strive to go beyond.
My Project
I just saw the movie "Wonder" with my family and I need a classroom set for my students! There are so many lessons that can be learned from this story. Courage, friendship, loyalty, forgiveness, empathy, reconciliation, leadership, and the list goes on. The story is a great message for all ages and the impact it can have on a classroom of students, those ripples will be felt tenfold in their homes, school, and community.
The movie was amazing.
I can't imagine how much more detailed the characters, their personalities, and the life lessons will be reading it from the book. Wonder is a story that can bring more good into the world and I want to be able to share this heartfelt story with my students.
