My Project
My students will benefit from the funding of this project by becoming young entrepreneurs and extending their school printmaking business to community members.
Funding this project for this STEAM course will also allow students to understand how to organize business finances by increasing their understanding of financial literacy.
Students will increase their financial literacy by demonstrating mastery of benefit/cost analysis to facilitate informed decision-making.
As a STEAM school, students must master the ISTE technology standards. This project emphasizes four of the seven technology standards. Students apply artistic and computer techniques to the interpretation of technical and commercial concepts. Students also engage in computer-assisted art and design, printmaking, multimedia applications, communication skills, and commercial art business operations.
