WOLF Cafe Coffee Cart

Help me give my students the opportunity to set up a coffee cart "business" that will allow them to go out into the school community and sell coffee, tea, hot chocolate, iced tea, and treats to staff.

My Students

Our family consists of both High School Autistic and Life Skills Support Classes. They enjoy learning every day, especially when we go out on CBI (Community Based Instruction).

My students come from high poverty neighborhoods throughout Philadelphia.

They are always eager to learn something new. We are a Title One public high school.

My Project

As teachers, we are always looking for activities that can help our students learn and at the same time provide them opportunities to be out in our school interacting with staff and other students. We would love the opportunity for our students to organize our coffee cart and sell coffee and treats to the teachers and staff in our school. In addition, it will provide a great opportunity to practice our money skills and counting inventory.

We want to have as many opportunities as we can to interact with the rest of our school.

The cart, coffee maker, and other supplies in this project will be a great start to getting our coffee cart up and going.

In addition to the interaction with our school, we will also be learning vocational skills, as well as math and reading skills. We are also hopeful that we can cook some yummy snacks for the cart to share with our school.
