I have a classroom filled with 26 adorable, bouncing and energetic first graders. Our school is a fully included school meaning that every class has students with special and independent needs. My desire is to build a classroom that meets the physical and academic needs of every child.
Some students learn best when standing, others learn best when rocking or tipping.
Our students need to move. These seats allow our kinesthetic learners to engage their core, enabling their bodies and minds to fully connect the learner to the classroom. No more can we expect students to sit still and focus when so many students today are being identified with various learning challenges. Please consider funding my project and helping to make every student's learning experience more successful.
My Project
These Kids Kore Wobble Seats will allow my students to sit at their desks while still being able to be active and move their bodies, without disrupting others around them. These seats are an alternative to the standard issue chairs that the school provides. Standard chairs are hard and only allow for one seated position, often leading to falls when the students tip and try to find a position that further engages their body while learning.
The Kids Kore Wobble Chair allows for natural movement and takes the risk of falls away. Students can sit comfortably while engaging their core muscles, tip back and forth, and are able to turn from side to side while being safe in their chair. This is an alternative seating dream come true.
Having Kids Kore Wobble Chairs in my classroom will allow all of my students to actively engage in the curriculum while sitting safely and still moving their bodies.
No more sit still and focus in my classroom, because students will have the ability to move freely in their seats.
