My favorite thing about Kindergarten is having my students come to me knowing almost nothing and seeing them move on to first grade as confident readers, writers and mathematicians.
I absolutely love my students!
They come to me eager to learn and hear about our day. They come from a wide variety of backgrounds and bring with them a wide variety of experiences. Our school works together with the community, parents and teachers to provide a quality education for each and every child that walks through the doors.
My Project
I'm requesting four wobble seat. Seats that kids can sit on to do their work but still be able to move around. They are five years old and have a lot of energy! These stools have shown to help with attention, especially with students with ADD and ADHD. It is my goal to use these stools to help my most challenging students be able to focus on their work instead of wiggling around in a traditional chair.
My students are eager and enthusiastic to learn! But they're also very wiggly and have a lot of energy! These wobble seats will help them be able to sit and learn, but also get some energy out.
This project will help our classroom by allowing my students to focus on getting their work done!
It will help them expel some extra energy in a safe way and also still be a successful learner in the classroom.
