Wobbling Through Our Emotions With Care

Help me give my students the ability to fully express their feelings with flexible and safe seating and some relaxing sensory toys. Thank you so much!

My Project

I adore my students!! They are creative, fun, smart, and very resilient. Coming from some challenging circumstances, I want them to have a calming and safe place to share whatever’s on their minds. Students could fall more easily in the stools I currently have, but having flexible seating will enhance their counseling experience and allow them to focus on sharing their feelings, accommodating their need to move comfortably and safely and more access to sensory toys while doing so.

Our school consists of K-5th Graders eagerly waiting to release their emotions.

Having an enhanced social emotional learning space will allow them to talk, read, draw, and write through their emotions and return to class regulated to learn and focus.
