Help me give my students comfortable seating choices, including Learniture Active Seating Stools and wobble cushions to wiggle and wobble as they learn and LCD writing pads!
My classroom is filled with curious and diverse young learners who love to learn. My students are kind and love to collaborate and problem-solve as they engage in active learning.
Each day with my students brings new adventures and new experiences which we explore together.
It is my goal as a teacher to further extend the love of learning to my students so they are able to not only have successful academic careers, but achieve their own personal goals and dreams.
My Project
Wobble stools and wobble cushions provide students with alternative seating choices. These alternative seating choices help to meet the needs of all students. In fact, I have seen my students with ADD and ADHD benefit immensely from the wobble stools and cushions. But, I must say, all of my students really love the stools and cushions!
The wobble stools and cushions will help my students focus on their learning which will ultimately increase their academic achievement.
Students who have a hard time sitting still and focusing are able to wiggle and wobble as they complete their work and without distracting others.
To further aid my students in their learning, we are also requesting LCD tablets to go with our wobble chairs. These tablets will help students to show what they know using an alternative to paper and pencil. This is sure to capture the interest and attention of not only students who have ADHD, but other students as well.
Since we do not have enough stools and cushions to go around at the moment, students can not wait until it is their turn to use the wobble stools and cushions. This project will allow more students to utilize the wobble stools and cushions more often. Will you help my students wiggle while they work?
