My students are a wonderful mix of personalities! They are funny and sweet, charismatic and kind. We have a literacy and STEM-focused school and we are in need of materials to facilitate our learning in and out of the classroom. We are a neighborhood school so many of these students will be here for the duration of their elementary school days. There are many uses for the materials we are asking for throughout our day: math, literacy, science, social studies, etc. Thank you for helping us out!
My Project
If you have ever been around a group of 6 and 7 year olds, you can tell they lose their focus very quickly. They are constantly moving some part of their body, while still trying to learn. With the use of flexible seating in my classroom, I encourage that movement all throughout the day. I encourage them to move their bodies to help them learn.
The Kore Wobble Stools encourage an outlet to let out energy and improve their focus.
They are proven to help students who need extra support for focus and energy, as well as helping all students with improving their posture and learning. They are especially fun to use because of the anti roll technology that keeps them from toppling over while they work. I have seen these stools in action and they are phenomenal to watch students while they work!
