Wobbles and Writing: I Need to Move While I Write!
Help me give my students the ability to concentrate on notes and still be comfortable; I need a new document camera and wobbly chairs so students can take notes while wobbling!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students do a great job of taking notes when I am using my old document camera, but they struggle to see from the back because the image is so light, and students must crowd around to the front in order to do their notes. Help me make it easier for them!
When students can clearly see the board while they wobble and get their wiggles out, they can take great notes!
I need a new document camera so students can see my notes without sitting on the floor in front of the projector. I have students who love sitting in any kind of alternate seating because they have way too much energy and struggle to self-regulate their tapping.
Students love to sway back and forth on chairs, lean back in their chairs, and generally do a whole number of distracting things with their bodies. Help me focus their energy on wobble chairs so that they can still sway and bounce while still learning!
