This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Teaching in my hometown of Uvalde, TX has brought so much joy in my life! I see how education is the key to molding our doctors, lawyers, police officers, and teachers.
My students are the kindest students I have met.
They have challenged me to adapt lessons and to differentiate to their needs. My students are thriving but they want to accomplish more- to want to learn more!
My students are our future but they are learning with resources from the past. They crave new resources that inspire creativity! I believe my students will change the world- a ripple of generosity is all they need! Thank You!
My Project
I will be using the wobble chairs as a way to help students be engaged! The more they move the better they focus. I want clipboards to be able to use around the classroom when they need to be away from their desks. I want the interactive sounds to help with facilitating learning in the center. In using all three together, I want to create a welcoming environment where each student can have a say in how they want to learn. The goal is teaching to meet their needs and it starts with making them comfortable to learn! Thank you!
