In a traditional classroom most instruction and learning occurs while students are sitting down at a desk or in a small group in chairs. Students have a lot of energy and are not used to having to sit still for long periods of time, they often wiggle while they work to help maintain focus and effort on their assignments.
Wobble chairs are an alternative to traditional seating—giving kids a full range of movement and the stability they need to wobble without tipping over.
The wobble chairs’ unique design helps strengthen core muscles while encouraging proper posture. I am requesting wobble chairs for my classroom to allow appropriate movement in the classroom that will enhance my students' concentration and learning.
