Help me give my students a safe place where they can wiggle around while learning to their full capability. As kindergarteners, they need constant movement, especially after being home for a year and a half during virtual learning!

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students represent an amazing wealth of culture, languages and history. Their families are amazingly supportive and are very involved in their child's education. My classroom comprises of mostly students with disabilities and English as a Second Language. We are a Title 1 school in a community where parents opt to come to our school because they want the best for their children. Our school is like a home away from home, as it is a Pre-K to fifth grade public school and you can often see siblings and family members all around, which gives everyone a sense of an extended family. I love it!
My Project
Over the past year, the children of my class have been cooped up and not moving much. I would like to give them a chance to move in their own space and allow their bodies to be in motion and feel good, but in their own space. My classroom is small and every inch of space that we are taking up, brings us closer together. These chairs will gave them a way to move around, without actually getting into each other's space in the classroom. This will also help keep them socially distant and safer if they are contained!
