My Students
Our school mission statement states, "We are here to educate all students by meeting them where they are and taking them where they need to be. We will foster an environment that uses collaboration to successfully assist each student in meeting their goals."
Though our backgrounds and experiences vary, we have a common goal to learn and share our knowledge and strengths with each other.
We are a low income, Title school with a high number of students receiving reduced-price/free lunch.
My Project
Our first grade classroom is transitioning into more flexible seating. This is very important for our learning as we have tons of energy and like to move and wiggle while we work. Wobble stools are the perfect seating choice for this!
Being able to wobble while we work allows us to focus and complete our learning tasks.
Wobble stools are a preferred choice in our classroom and I would love to give more students that option. Adding more wobble stools will benefit our classroom greatly! It will increase student engagement, encourage students to remain on task and helps build core muscles.
