This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Every week I have the privilege of sharing my day with a group of wonderful third graders who are always eager to learn and grow.
Although they come from the highest percentage Title-1 school in one of the largest districts in the state, nothing gets in their way!
While some students may have difficult home lives, be struggling academically or be learning English as a second language, they come to school each day with a positive attitude and incredible work ethic.
My Project
Wobble stools will provide seating options to meet the needs of all students academically as well as physically. when imagining a typical classroom setting, students are seen sitting still, upright, and working quietly. In our classroom, students need the opportunity to move and be comfortable.
Rather than being stuck with a desk and a chair, these will provide students with the chance to move and release their wiggles while they work!
Wobble stools allow students to tip and move while still being safe in their seat. They will support students in becoming more focused and engaged in a positive learning environment.
