My Project
In a Montessori classroom, movement is not only encouraged—it’s essential. My primary students (ages 3–6) are curious, energetic learners who thrive when they can move freely and make choices about how and where they work. However, traditional seating options often limit their natural need for movement, especially during longer periods of concentration or focused table work. That’s why I’m requesting a set of wobble chairs that will allow students to gently rock and wiggle as they work, promoting better focus, core strength, and self-regulation.
Wobble chairs provide a safe and purposeful outlet for movement while supporting posture and attention.
Many of my students benefit from sensory input throughout the day, and flexible seating options like wobble stools allow them to meet these needs without disruption. These chairs are especially beneficial for children who struggle with staying still or maintaining focus in traditional seats.
