My Students
I have some super kinder-kiddos! They are bright, energetic, eager-to-learn, hands-on learners! We are constantly engaged in small groups, workstations, and real-life learning experiences. We move, we groove, and have fun learning!
My students come from many diverse backgrounds, but one thing remains absolutely the same-they are ready to learn!
My students come from a high-poverty area and have to work hard to overcome many challenges. They have learned to rise up to any challenge and conquer them through thinking, wondering, making choices, and doing. Thank you for considering helping my wonderful, curious, fantastic Kindergarten students!
My Project
My students are active Kindergartners! They need the opportunity to engage in workspaces that are appropriate to their wobbling, wiggling, and moving bodies. We will use the wobble stools throughout our classroom to provide students with ability to move and wiggle while exploring and engaging in learning. We will use these stools as flexible seating during our literacy workstations, guided reading, guided math, math workstations, independent/buddy reading, and writing/research times.
These wobble stools will give my students the ability to choose a space that works for them, burns energy that would otherwise keep them unfocused, increases engagement, and builds their stamina!
