Help Our Students Wiggle Their Way to Success!

Imagine a classroom where movement isn't a distraction—but a tool for learning. At SAAL, we’re striving to create that environment by introducing wobble stools into our classrooms. These innovative seats allow students to move while staying seated, helping them focus, engage, and thrive.
Research shows that flexible seating options like wobble stools can improve focus and behavior by up to 17%, especially for students with ADHD, autism, and other special education needs. In fact, a study published in the American Journal of Occupational Therapy found that children with attention difficulties showed significantly better in-seat behavior and task engagement when using dynamic seating.
Why Wobble Stools?
They promote active sitting, improving core strength and posture.
Movement helps regulate sensory input—essential for students with sensory processing challenges.
They reduce fidgeting, distractions, and the need for constant movement breaks.
Students report feeling more comfortable, in control, and ready to learn.
Each wobble stool costs approximately $60, and our goal is to equip just two classrooms with at least 6 stools to support our learners. SAAL specializes in student populations with autism and ADHD. Almost 90% of our student population fit into that category.
